A professional educator and Fulbright Scholar from Ukraine (at KSU OH, 1994), Dr. Fiona Citkinproduces and hosts the 16,000+-subscribers-strong talk-show show The Bridge for Women Worldwide.
Enthusiastic about producing webinars, signature events at Fulbright-NJ, Fiona hosted 10 of them. She co-created content of Fulbright-NJ-sponsored event at Montclair University: organized, rehearsed, and moderated the 4-participants panel where both former and acting Fulbrighters shared their experiences with those in attendance. Big success for all, especially the tenor from Taiwan who performed to a lasting applause—and Fiona stays in contact with him till today. See pics on FB.
Fiona co-designed the content of the yearly Fulbright-NJ-2024 in our June gathering and delivered the presentation “Our Story” about current members of the Board, summarizing the achievements of the Board in recent years. See FB.
Her book “How They Made It in America: Success Stories and Strategies of Immigrant Women, from Isabel Allende to Ivana Trump to Fashion Designer Josie Natori, Plus More“ is a NABE Pinnacle Book Award Winner. In her blogs, Citkin explores the issues of immigration and women. For her book Transformational Diversity: Why and How Intercultural Competencies Can Help Organizations to Survive and Thrive Fiona was recognized as a Top 2012 Champion of Diversity.
